If ‘you are what you eat’ then I am a sweet strawberry jelly filled doughnut or a cheesy slice of pizza topped with banana pepper rings. Depends on the day.

I’m a 21 year old gal living in the beautiful city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and I have the wonderful privilege of attending the University of Pittsburgh. I could rave about all that I love about my school, but having the ability to explore a seemingly endless array of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars (ice cream and otherwise), and more, make it to be even more of a *foodie* dream come true.

I’ve had a love for baking and eating ever since I was young, and a love for food writing was a natural come about as the years went on. I started this site five years ago, used it off and on, then got busy with classes, working, and running a baking Instagram account (@AndAChocolateDrizzle) to keep up with posting. There’s no time like the present, so here we are again, and now I’m armed with a multitude of many more recipes, restaurants visited, new foods tasted, and a huge appetite for writing that must be satisfied. After all, Julia Child did say, “People who love to eat are always the best people.”

Whether you know me as a daughter, sister, cousin, friend, student, or ‘weird girl in my class whose screensaver is a picture of brownies,’ I hope you enjoy reading my recipes and bits and pieces about my day, and I genuinely thank you for letting me be a part of yours!
